Hi!
I am a behavioral ecologist broadly interested in the evolution of social behavior.
I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute of Animal Behavior and the University of Konstanz, working in Dr. Ariana Strandburg-Peshkin's research group. My postdoctoral research focuses on the role of vocal communication in the coordination of collective movement in wild meerkats, white-nosed coatis, and spotted hyenas.
I received my PhD from Stony Brook University's Interdepartmental Doctoral Program in Anthropological Sciences (IDPAS). Advised by Dr. Catherine Markham, my dissertation research investigated the relationship between individual variation and collective behaviors in wild baboons.
